About Restructure Marine Products LLC
Restructure Marine Products LLC, (RMP) evolved from a need expressed by fiberglass power and sailboat owners who berth their boats in a harsh salt-water environment, to protect their boats and ultimately their investment. We explored the scientific world of Nanotechnology and found RALG®, a substance created by MB International USA CO that bonds with the surface it is applied to at the molecular level. Working with MB International, we developed a series of products using RALG®, specifically for marine use to restore gel coat to its original luster seal and protect the exterior fiberglass gel coat, stainless steel and polished aluminum rails and fixtures for a period of three years.
A Micro Finishing Compound was developed to be used for removing light oxidation and filling in small scratches and blemishes in fiberglass gel coat and returning the shine to Stainless Steel, Chrome and polished aluminum. A quick shine product , Mirasol, was developed for use on interior boat surfaces Based on the same nanotechnology process, an Engine Oil was developed for both gas and diesel engines that improves engine performance by molecularly bonding with internal engine components and thereby reducing friction. We thoroughly test each of our products in a real saltwater environment before recommending them to our customers.
The composition of the Restructure Marine Products LLC line of boat care products contains RALG®. RALG® is manufactured by MB International USA CO using Nanotechnology and when applied properly bonds with fiberglass, aluminum, stainless steel and painted surfaces at the molecular level.
Nanotechnology was first introduced in 1959 and is the term used to describe a manufacturing technology for producing materials and substances at the nanoscale level. In the metric system of measurement, “Nano” equals a billionth and therefore a nanometer is one-billionth of a meter. References to nano materials, nano devices and nanopowders simply mean the material can be measured in nanometers. To appreciate the size, a human red blood cell is over 2,000 nanometers long, virtually outside the nanoscale range!
How Does Nanotechnology apply to products offered by Restructure Marine Products LLC?
The particles in RALG®, the main substance in the line of products offered by Restructure Marine Products LLC line are measured in the nano scale or at the molecular level. This small particulate size gives our products the unique ability to fill in the pores and seal and protect surfaces to which it is applied such as fiberglass, fiberglass gel coat, stainless steel, polished aluminum and chrome with a rock hard finish.
Restructure Marine Polish Wins MAATS Innovation Award
Restructure Marine Products LLC Professional Marine Polish, a new compound that uses nanotechnology to shine and protect marine surfaces, was one of six marine aftermarket products honored July 17 for innovative achievement. The awards event was sponsored by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) at the 8th annual Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show (MAATS) at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel
The Innovation Awards, organized by NMMA and judged by BWI, recognize those products that best meet the following criteria: innovative distinction from other products currently being manufactured; benefit to the marine industry and/or consumer; practicality; cost-effectiveness; and availability to the consumer within 60 days of the show’s conclusion. A total of 60 new products were entered in eight categories for this years’ MAATS awards program.
Restructure Marine Products LLC Professional Marine Polish took first place in the Boat Care/Coating/Chemicals and Maintenance Tools category. Mark Silvey, owner of Mark Silvey Marine Services, the Western Region Distributor for Restructure Marine Products LLC, explains that it was exactly the innovative nature of the compound that drew his interest in distributing it. “I have been in the marine services business for a long time and this is a product with the potential to revolutionize the way people care for their boats.”
“Judges take their jobs evaluating Innovation Award entries very seriously, spending hours reviewing and referencing submitted materials and cross-checking facts,” says Jan Mundy, Innovation Awards chair and editor of DIY Boat Owner magazine. “The hands-on process at the show is equally challenging, and after products are critiqued on the exhibit floor judges begin deliberating at great lengths to select the winning entries. The variety of highly competitive products made for some stiff competition. This years’ selection process was the most intense I’ve seen since I first began participating in the awards program.”
This non-petroleum, water-based penetrating polish uses nanotechnology to clean and protect gelcoat, metal, paint, plastic, vinyl and other hard surfaces. “Easily hand applied without buffing, this product will change the way boaters maintain their boats,” said Mundy.
RMP OFFERS A LINE OF NANOTECHNOLOGY AUTOMOTIVE CARE PRODUCT
SEPTEMBER 2009
RMP Crystal Diamond Glaze products are specially formulated using a Nanotechnology process that creates molecular sized particles of RALG®, the ingredient that penetrates and seals painted and bare metal surfaces and also fiberglass. RALG® penetrates the pores of paints, bare metal and fiberglass and forms a covalent bond with the molecular structure of the surface or paint while curing to a rock hard glass like finish that provides extended protection from pollution, UV rays, residue from road grime, eggs, dirt, brake shoe dust, exhaust soot and acid rain.
We thoroughly test each of our products in the real world before recommending them to our customers.
RMP Crystal Diamond Glaze products are a derivative of our highly successful group of Marine Polish products also Nanotechnology produced using RALG®. RMP Crystal Diamond Glaze products have been specially nano reformulated to work with the Acrylic Enamel, Urethane, Lacquer and Clear Coat paints used by the majority of vehicle manufacturers. Clear coat paint is a paint without pigment. Non-clear coat paints are paints with pigment added to give the paint color. UV inhibitors are an additive that helps prevent the sun’s ultra violet rays from fading the color coat under the clear coat. Most of all cars, motorcycles, airplanes, trucks and RV’s have a clear coat finish. Clear coat finishes are a layer of clear resin applied over the top of colored paint. Clear coat like paint needs to be regularly maintained to keep it in top shape. Paint and Clear coat finishes need to be polished periodically to maintain their glossy shine
NOVEMBER 2011
RMP purchased two companies, ( MB International USA, CO. & American Chemical Manufacturing CO. (Ameri-Chem Mfg. CO.) The acquisition included all all assets of the Fire Glaze line of Automotive Polish and Compound products.
